Secret Reveal Valentines

Supplies:

  • Pencil
  • Watercolors
  • Cardstock
  • Crayons
  • Scissors
  • Envelopes

Steps:

  1. Lightly outline a heart with a pencil on cardstock.
  2. Use a white crayon to draw your secret designs on the card.
  3. Cut out the heart with scissors.
  4. Give your artwork to a friend and tell them to use watercolors to reveal the secret!

Valentine Sensory Bottle

Supplies:

  • Sensory Bottle
  • Clear Glue
  • Water
  • Glitter (Hearts)
  • Food Coloring (Red)

Steps:

  1. Empty the entire bottle of clear glue into the sensory bottle, then fill the remaining space with water.
  2. Add red food coloring to the liquid, screw the lid on tightly and shake.
  3. Open the bottle and add glitter and beads. Close the lid.
    TIP: You may want to glue the lid onto the bottle to keep kids from opening it.

Foam Flower Bouquet

Supplies:

  • Chenille Stems (Green)
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Foam Heart Stickers

Steps:

  1. Choose two large hearts and peel the backing off of one.
  2. Put the green chenille pipe cleaner onto the sticky side at the bottom of the heart to make a stem.
  3. Peel the backing off of the other heart and stick the two hearts together, back to back.
  4. Add smaller hearts on top of the larger hearts.
  5. Cut a green chenille pipe cleaner into 2″ pieces for the leaves. To make a leaf, bend one piece in half, shape it to look like a leaf then twist the ends onto the stem.
  6. Gather the bouquet together and tie a piece of ribbon into a bow around the stems.

Valentine’s Day Mobile

Supplies:

  • Chenille Stems (Red & White)
  • Ombre Yarn
  • Scissors

Steps:

  1. Grab four white chenille stems and twist two together at a time to create two thicker stems.
  2. Twist the ends of the two thick stems together, then bend in a circular motion and twist the other ends together to create a large circle.
  3. Take two red chenille stems and twist the ends together. Bend the stems into the shape of a heart and twist them together to close.
  4. Cut a piece of yarn and attach it to the heart. Hang the heart from the top of the circle.
  5. Cut several strands of yarn around 12″ and tie a lark’s head knot onto the bottom of the circle.
  6. Trim the yarn so that it creates a “V” shape.
