For the Crafty Teen

Below is a list of libraries throughout QCA that offer teen-specific crafting events (view our library guide for addresses and hours of operation):

Have a party for your teen or register for a DIY Workshop at Board & Brush Quad Cities [16+]


Join your teen at Paint Nite with Create! Quad Cities [13+] at 4 convenient locations: Columbus Club in Davenport, Nerdspeak Brewery in Bettendorf, Midwest Ale Works in East Moline, and Pour Bros Taproom in Moline.

For the Sporty Teen

Depending on the season, get tickets to a local QC Sporting Event:

Quad City Storm | Quad City Steamwheelers | Quad Cities River Bandits


Get out of the regular studio and take a yoga class at one of these unique locations:

Intuitive Peace with Dassah – several days and locations throughout QC

The Figge Art Museum – one Saturday each month from 10:30a – 11:30a

River Valley Public Library – every Tuesday evening from  


Davenport Junior Theatre offers several dance classes for teens such as ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, and more.


The Quad Cities has several outdoor skate parks that can be accessed throughout the year.


TBK Sports Complex offers competitive and recreational sports such as bowling, pickleball, gymnastics, wrestling, and more.

For the Performer Teen

Davenport Junior Theatre offers several classes for teens to perform such as musical theatre, acting, and improv.


There are 2 libraries that have Open Mic Nights throughout the QC

East Moline Public Library: Monthly through July 2024 (Registration is required)
LeClaire Community Library: Every other Monday (Instruments, Comedy, etc.)


Audition to be part of the cast for an upcoming performance at The Spotlight Theatre

For the Gamer Teen

Virtual Ventures offers games such as VR Escape Rooms, VR Laser Tag, and VR Survival Games.


At Code Ninjas, you can choose from weekly classes or year-round camps.


Davenport Public Library has Teen Gaming [ages 11-19] every Wednesday evening where teens play computer, console, and/or tabletop games.


At Bettendorf Public Library, teens can register for Teen Role Playing (Young Adult Role Playing-Club) where every week is a new themed adventure.


River Valley Public Library offers several activities as well as resources for teens such as Family Feud: Giant Games Edition, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Escape Room, and Dungeons & Dragons.


DeWitt Public Library now has VR games for teens ages 14+. (You must sign a waiver)


TBK Complex has a variety of gaming activities such as Escape Rooms, Virtual Reality, Arcade, Laser Tag and Bowling.
