Where has the time gone?! Spring break is already around the corner but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with a list of camps, classes and plenty of activities! Start planning the festivities now, since camps require registration and do have deadlines. Spring break for the following school districts are:

Davenport | Bettendorf Public Schools: March 13 – 17
Rock Island | Milan Public Schools: March 13 – 24
Moline | Coal Valley Public Schools: April 3 – 7


Enroll in a Camp

Day Trippers

A supervised recreational program designed to give your child an opportunity to socialize, play, and learn with other children. The children will have structured and unstructured playtime. Lunches are not provided. Morning and Afternoon Snack are provided. This program is for grades K-6. *Must be in kindergarten to attend.

Spring Break Day Camp

Spring is upon us and the River Museum is in full bloom! Campers are invited to step out of their winter hibernation schedule and participate in spring activities. There will be a different theme each day enticing campers to get involved with their natural surroundings. From meeting animals, planting flowers, and going back in time for spring survival, we’ll guide campers through an action-packed journey you don’t want to miss! Campers must bring a sack lunch each day of camp. Camp size is limited and early registration is required. Registration Deadline: March 3

Journey Through Time

Students will explore all elements of acting, dabble in theater design, and a wide array of other fun topics! Each group will get their own topic and let their creativity come to life! Students collaborate on ideas for the creation of their very own script that they perform on the final day! Performance is Friday at 4:00 PM. Ages 6-13 | Registration Deadline: March 10

Geneseo Park District’s Spring Break Camp

Park District will offer a camp Monday – Friday during Spring Break with games, activities, swimming and more. Campers must bring a sack lunch. Grades: K – 6th. Don’t need the whole week? Choose only the days you need it with our “Pick-a-Day” option.

Attend a Class

Chemistry for Kids: March 18 @ 2:00p

Chemistry for Kids is back! Join us on the following days for chemistry demonstrations held by expert scientists! Thanks to the American Chemical Society these demonstrations are included with general admission. Don’t miss out!

Life on the Beach: March 17 @ 10:30a & 2:30p

Learn how sand is formed and how it moves with water. Explorers will make a mini beach together and watch how water moves sand as they control the waves. Become a nature adventurer by participating in our free Explorers Club programming.  Programs begin promptly at the scheduled time, and last 15-30 minutes.

Go On a Vacay

There are tons of great places to visit within a few hours of the Quad Cities. Plan an action-packed trip to Chicago, IL, or a family road trip to St, Louis, MO. And if you haven’t been to Wisconsin yet, a spring break vacation to Madison or Milwaukee will surely create everlasting memories for your family. Go, See, Explore the QCA

We have so many great state and local parks around the Quad Cities and spring break is the perfect time to visit them! Take a Winter Wildlife Trolley Tour at Starved Rock State Park. Take a spring hike and have a family picnic at Wildcat Den State Park. Visit Pioneer Village at Scott County Park, Duck Creek Park & Golf Course, or Vander Veer Park Conservatory.
