It’s that time of year — we are ready for summer! And the QCA has some really great, fun options for your family on those sunny, summer days.

We recommend that you check the website or call before you venture out (just to ensure they are open). Many of these also offer swimming lessons – we can’t wait to hit these water-filled hot spots this summer!

Illinois

Riverside Aquatic Center – Closed for the 2023 Season

On Monday, April 10, 2023 the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new and improved Riverside Family Aquatic Center took place to mark the start of construction.

The City of Moline Parks and Recreation Department is excited to begin the $6,825,300 project that will include many updates and improvements including three new water slides, a lazy river, splash pad, new shade structures, updated concessions, nighttime lights, a shared park shelter, and family restrooms.

Riverside Aquatic Center offers a zero depth entry, a lap pool, and a SCS interactive water playground. Guards are constantly on duty to help ensure a safe environment. Refreshments and concessions are available on site. You can purchase a daily admission or a season pass.

John & Carla Edwards Aquatic Center

John & Carla Edwards Aquatic Center includes a poolhouse, splash pad, 6 lane lap pool, drop slide, 2 diving boards, climbing wall, activity pool with zero depth entry, play feature, lily pad walk and current channel. A limited concession menu will be available during open swim hours. Plus there is a temperature controlled poolside room which is available to rent year round.

Whitewater Junction

Whitewater Junction is a definite favorite among Quad Cities residents. They offer tube-ride slides and deep-water dive slides. You can purchase a daily admission or a season pass.

Location: 17 Street & 18 Avenue – Rock Island, IL

Iowa

DeWitt Aquatic Center

DeWitt Aquatic Center is equipped with slides and includes lap times, pools, diving board, child-friendly play areas, and so much more. You can purchase a daily admission or a season pass.

Muscatine Aquatic Center

Muscatine Aquatic Center features 5 slides (2 drop slides, 1 family slide and 2 long slides), a zero depth entry area, interactive play structure with kid slide and spray features. Family restrooms, self service lockers, a multi-purpose room and full concessions are also available.

Scott County Pool

Scott County Park Pool is equipped with a heated Olympic-size swimming pool, a beach, water slides, baby pools, spray pads and more. They also have a playground conveniently located right across the street. You can purchase a daily admission or a season pass.

Splash Landing – Closed for the 2023 Season

Splash Landing features a zero depth entry with water geysers, a kiddie slide, two flume slides, a drop slide, and a diving board, as well as lap swimming lanes. The zero depth toddler pool area features a slide, numerous spray features, and ample deck and shaded areas for lounging.
