Friends, grab your calendars and save the date for December 9th and 10th, because Junkin’ Market Days is COMING to the Quad Cities!

Junkin’ Market Days is a multi-state vendor show that originated in South Dakota and is now in over 8 locations in several Midwest states. It is a two-day indoor market filled with unique products from local vendors: Repurposed, Rustic, Shabby Chic, Farmhouse, Vintage & One-Of-A-Kind finds.  The event features a building full of boutique clothing, home decor, jewelry, purses, gourmet food and more!

Quad City Junkin’ Market Days

Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Davenport

Friday December 9th, 2022 4-8PM

Saturday December 10th, 2022 9AM-4PM

 

Our team at QCM is very excited about this event because it combines our two missions: connecting moms to each other AND to local businesses and organizations in the community. In addition to inviting you to attend Junkin’ Market Days as a customer, we’re also thrilled to share that they have some vendor spots open for the event as well! If you are a local business owner interested in hosting a booth at the December Market, please check out the details below.

Junkin Market Day is not only a show, it is a community. Vendors get free boosted posts to promote them and their brand as well as free monthly classes with professional speakers to help them grow and promote their businesses. Don’t worry, you don’t have to attend the class in real time–you will get a link to watch it at any time at your leisure. The September class featured a brand photographer, who helps vendors learn how to build their brand image and websites, and October was a business financial speaker. Our goal is to help our vendors become a success. We have a vendor list with over 3,000 vendors so far that have done and continue to do shows with us. It is a pretty great community!

Sara and her husband Matt (sweethearts since they were just 16) got married in 2007, and since then have welcomed four beautiful children (Sam in 2008, Cooper in 2010, Nora in 2012, and baby Adam James in December 2015). A born-and-raised Iowan, Sara received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees (in Spanish Literature) from the University of Iowa. After teaching Spanish at every level (from Kindergarten to college!) for nearly 8 years, she fell in love with the City Moms Blog Network and, along with Kaitlyn, launched Iowa City Moms Blog in 2013 and Cedar Rapids Moms Blog in 2016! Since then, she has transitioned to a full time work-from-home mom, and could not be happier about this change!
