Celebrate Ordinary Days in February!


I know you’ve seen the February Bucket Lists floating around Pinterest, rife with Valentine’s ideas and celebrating Black History Month. Of course you want to do those activities! Celebrate ordinary days too with some of these ideas.

We have an amazing calendar for celebrating every ordinary day that we have had so much fun with these past few years, and I just had to share it with you!

February 1 – Decorating With Candy Day – I don’t think these decorations would last long in my house. Maybe we could celebrate this day by playing Candy land.
February 2 – National Bubblegum Day – This would be an easy one to celebrate an ordinary day, but I’ve found the dog  chewing gum so, no. celebrate ordinary days in February boy with huge bubble gum bubble in his mouth
February 3 – National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day – How easy is this to celebrate every day!
February 4 – World Cancer Day
February 5 – World Nutella Day – We gave the kids jars of Nutella for Christmas. I’m sure they would appreciate more to celebrate ordinary days!
February 6 – Frozen Yogurt Day 
February 7 – Send a Card To a Friend Day – You’re going to be a hero with someone with this simple gesture. 
February 8 – Laugh and Get Rich Day – Let’s see if it comes true.
February 9 – National Pizza Day – We normally have pizza on Fridays, but now we’ll have to do it two days in a row. Shucks.
February 10 – National Umbrella Day –  If you don’t have an upside down umbrella, today is the day to get one! Game changer.
February 11 – National Make a Friend Day – Hooray!
February 12 – Darwin Day
February 13 – Get a Different Name Day – I have always wanted my last name to be Justice…
February 14 – National Donor’s Day –  Make a difference. – And Valentine’s Day, obviously. 
February 15 – National Gumdrop Day
February 16 – National Almond Day
February 17 – Random Acts of Kindness Day – What are all the ways you can think of to do something simple with your kids today and make a huge difference for someone else? Our author has some ideas for you.
February 18 – National Wine Day – Now you have a good reason to celebrate ordinary days!
February 19 – National Chocolate Mint Day – Yum! 
February 20 – National Love Your Pet Day
February 21 – National Sticky Bun Day – AKA Cinnamon Rolls

February 23 – National Play Tennis Day – 
February 24 – Open That Bottle Day – Open that bottle of liquor you’ve got saved for a special occasion. Celebrating today is a special occasion.

February 28 – National Pink Day – How about pink AND glitter? Read Pinkalicious. Wear pink. Eat pink foods. Lots of easy ways to celebrate every day in February.
