I took the time to scour the internet so you didn’t have to in order to learn the most mom friendly fashion trends for spring 2021.

You can be confident that by adding a couple of these spring 2021 trends to your wardrobe, you will be able to easily create the perfect business or dressy spring outfits or the chic, casual spring style to be an on trend mom!

Olive has been around for a while, but we’re seeing it a lot more this year. As a near-neutral it’s easy to incorporate into your wardrobe. Besides a jacket or pants, try olive shorts, and olive utility dress, or camo tee this summer.

Don’t be scared of coral- this shade can vary from almost pink to almost red. Without a doubt you can likely find some type of clothing piece, shoe or accessory to brighten your wardrobe. If you’re hesitant to put a coral shirt on, grab a purse or statement necklace for a pop of color. I just found a pair of coral shorts at Goodwill!

Do you love or hate leopard print? It’s easy to wear in the fall and winter, but it can be a little trickier in the spring and summer. I love to incorporate it in shoes and belts, but you can certainly go more bold with a tank top or even a swimsuit!

Ditsy Florals are definitely on trend for moms

Ditsy florals means tiny flowers all over the piece. It has stayed in trendy mom outfits forever now and that means it’s easy to find used. It’s also easy to find in the current prairie trend.

Tie Dye

Tie dye is here for on trend moms this spring. Isn’t great to see all the 90s trends rolling back around again? (I’m not sure if I’m being sarcastic or not.) It’s mom friendly because you can’t tell when your shirt gets stained AND it’s a fun craft with the kids! Just trying to be positive over here. I found an adorable black and white tye dyed tee shirt dress at Walmart for about $12.

On trend moms are wearing the Leather Look

You may have noticed more and more of your friends wearing leather leggings, or maybe just seen it at the store, or on the magazines you’re trying to keep your toddler from pulling down while checking out. Any way you slice it,  the leather look is definitely in style.

I’m a huge fan of “leather” leggings, which help me channel my inner 80s rockstar. I’ve also gotten a leather jacket at Goodwill, and a leather scrunchie. There are so many ways to incorporate leather and buying used or not real leather is good for the planet too.

Striped everything is in!

You can go all out and get an entire striped dress or you can just use it in one piece to add interest without being overwhelming. Here stripes are shown in coral, which is also trending for spring 2021.

I got a bold black and white striped dress at Goodwill and paired it with a leather jacket also from Goodwill. Going with bare legs and Converse would make this exact look casual for running errands or going to the park.

Whether you are sporty by nature or just love the comfort and ease of the athleisure look, you will adore all the athleisure options you’ll see in stores right now. This stylish look was strong last year and continues for on trend moms in Spring 2021! Now your yoga pants are a must have!

Graphic Tees

Support your favorite cause (Black Lives Matter), TV show or shout your QCmom or trophy wife status by getting a graphic tee. You can dress them up or down, pair with your favorite skinny jeans, or even a skirt! We’ve even got adorable QC Moms tees you can snag.

Graphic tees are such an easy way to infuse your basic capsule pieces with personality and style – there’s an option out there for everyone! If you’re not a fan of the bulky tee shirt look, you can also easily cut it down into something more fitted and feminine for great mom spring style.

I wish I would have held on to my favorite overalls from the 90s. Over alls are so cute and so easy to wear with a tee or tank or something dressier. They make you feel so comfortable and you easily can nurse in them as well making this a great choice to add to your closet to be an on trend mom for spring 2021!

Teeshirt Dresses

I LIVE in tee shirt dresses in the summer. This laidback style is comfy and very casual. Knee-length & midi-length, short sleeve & sleeveless, there’re lots of fun options. I found a black and white sleeveless tie dyed tee shirt dress at Wal-mart and killed two trends in one. You can elevate a tee shirt dress with some fun earrings and dressier sandals if you want to wear one for date night or even to a more formal event.

Prairie Style

So admittedly, this trend has had a lot of us scratching our heads and wondering if fashion designers were stuck inside too long. Nevertheless, it’s definitely trending for spring 2021. You don’t have to look like Laura Ingalls to knock this on trend look for moms style out of the park. You can incorporate the prairie look with ditsy florals, higher necklines, buttons, ruffles, tiered skirts and be comfortable and cute!

White Tennis Shoes

Like so many of these trends, a lot of them can go hand in hand. This kind of follows the athleisure trend in a way, but white sneakers can go with SO much more than a great pair of leggings. Crop pants, shorts, casual tee shirt dresses and skirts all offer so many options for mom spring style!

This is a great way to wear comfy, supportive shoes that are completely on trend!

Ease is the name of the game with this trend. There are many different styles to choose from, whether you like wide straps, skinny straps, sparkles, bows, just about whatever your heart desires!

A fun shoe is a great way to create casual outfits to be an on trend mom this spring that are simple, but chic!

Bow scrunchies

Scarf Scrunchies

Spiral Hair Ties

Messy Bun Ball Caps

Hats of all Kinds

And don’t forget to get a big cute purse that doubles as a diaper bag or that jewelry can make a huge difference in how put together your look is.

We’re here to offer you inexpensive, planet friendly, and local options on the latest trends and styles that work for moms. We want you to learn what’s in style only so your confidence rises with the spring and summer temperatures, not because we think “in style” or “on trend” is THE goal to which you should aspire.
